Drop-In Wheelchair Basketball at Mount Royal University<\/a> (in partnership with Calgary Grizzlies Wheelchair Basketball Society),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/anc.ca.apm.activecommunities.com\/mrurecreation\/activity\/search?activity_select_param=2&amp;activity_keyword=boccia&amp;viewMode=list\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Learn 2 Play Boccia at Mount Royal University<\/a> (in partnership with Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sports Association),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pentathloncalgary.ca\/ares-registration\/event\/96-6-wheelchair-fencing-youth-intro\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Youth Wheelchair Fencing at MNP Community &amp; Sport Centre<\/a> (in partnership with Ares Pentathlon &amp; Fencing Club)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAfter years of success with our adapted lacrosse program at the Autism Aspergers Friendship Society of Calgary, we knew this program had the potential to expand and reach more Calgarians,\u201d says Scott Godfrey, a Program Coordinator with AAFS Calgary \u201cBy partnering with Vivo and CAH, AAFS and Lacrossing Barriers can now share Canada\u2019s National Summer Sport with individuals with and without physical disabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bjorn Billehaug, Associate Director Recreation, Mount Royal University Cougars Athletics and Recreation added \u201cWe are fortunate to collaborate with a variety of community organizations such as the Calgary Grizzlies and Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sports Association to create safe and welcoming entry points into para sports\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThanks to Jumpstart, we are creating pathways for participation from grassroots to high performance in both wheelchair and able-bodied fencing, which is a rare opportunity in many Canadian cities,\u201d<\/em> says Josh Rike-Fox, Ares Pentathlon &amp;
