On January 28, 2019, City Council\u2019s Strategic Meeting of Council<\/a> will make funding decisions regarding several long-term projects, including the development of a multisport fieldhouse in\u00a0Foothills Athletic Park.

The City has also received several requests to fund significant portions of a new events centre\/arena, an expansion to the BMO Centre, and an expansion to Arts Commons.

The\u00a0Calgary Multisport Fieldhouse Society<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sport Calgary\u00a0are jointly supporting the public need for a multisport fieldhouse. The facility will serve as a new community space for Calgary\u00a0that benefits all Calgarians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
